The president of the federation, Arayik Harutyunyan, congratulated the medalists and coaching staff, emphasizing that the healthy atmosphere currently present in the national team is obvious to everyone:
“Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the European Championship, but what I saw in the team reflects a qualitatively new situation. I can see that during this period, the moral and psychological condition within the team is good, the team is focused on its tasks, and results are the top priority. The federation will highly appreciate the work of our coaches and athletes in this spirit. A goal will be set, and at the end of the year we will assess whether we have achieved it or not. We are the strongest in Europe, we win the most medals in Europe, but in my opinion, it is already time to set higher standards,” emphasized the president of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation, Arayik Harutyunyan.
